Baby Blue Eyes

call me crazy, but i love the potential that lies in an unopened notebook. i love the smooth, but almost scratchy texture of the pages awaiting the pressure of your emotions, ideas and pencil. i feel like i could write a pulitzer-prize winning novel or short story or anything! i approach all non-rage-driven entries with the same optimism, but usually it fizzles out, like last year's illegal indiana fireworks.

so, i went to the movie with maeve and mark, and it was, needless to say, a splendidly good time. rarely do movies make you think like a character, but this one did the job well. embarrassed though i am, i will admit to the "deer in the headlights" expression near the conclusion, but once again, it only confirms the effectivness of both the story and the actors. in fact, i don't believe i've ever been so strongly attracted to a character as i was to "eisenheim". i mean, norton just exuded sexiness and coolness.

after this weekend, i have realized that life is too short to not spend time with good friends, new and/or old. and how lovely it is to have a guy friend locally again.

also, for some reason, i've started to question many aspects of my life. i feel like this might turn into a "school-ish" essay of some type, but i just can't help it. i'm wondering if i made the right choice to go to k college, to go on study abroad, to say or not say something...

this summer, i've had so many variables in my life change so drastically that i had to change as well. i'm not sure how to stress the "little things" without sounding too cliche...but there's really no other way to put it. i've never  appreciated something so simple as holding someone's hand before my uncle came back. and how beautiful it is to see someone start to walk again.

but i digress, i don't have the answers, just a few more questions, and hopes, and wishes.

i guess this is all for tonight, i think i've fallen victim to the same trailing off as always...such is life.

good night!
