A-men, sistah! I totally agree.

I'm not sure how I would feel specifically about the proof of age thing. A year ago I might've said it was ludicrous, but I find myself taking things like that into greater consideration now that I am about to have a child of my own. I think about when I was a kid and my greatest source of porn was scrambled Spice Channel or a neighbor's derelict Hustler. And when I think about that, I think... kids should kinda have to work for their porn, ya know?! Like we did!

The thing is, if they start banning porn, they'll go so far as to ban the artistic stuff, and I put that into a whole nother catagory. What we need is a universal rating system, somethign that is written into the HTML, XML, Java-script, when the sites are made. Similar to ye ole G, PG, PG-13, R, NC17, X, XX or XXX rating system. Then have the browsers set to filter out said ratings on the kiddie-pops users. THAT responsibility (setting up the user and filter) should rely solely on the parent, not the internet, not the government, just where the fuck it should be, the parents. If they let their kids run rampant on the inet, then by God, they need to see it all, cause they probably have more sense than said parents. Should a site not have a rating in its code, it's automatically rated "R" as far as the filters are concerned, but this shit about putting my credit card into EVERY "adult" site I want to visit.... FUCK THAT. There is no reason I should have to enter my financial entity online for verification purposes, drivers-license ( ... )
