i didn’t realize it had been so long since i updated. lots of news, i’ve been very busy.
i changed my major. well not officially yet i guess and there is no pre-med major here so i’m still technically a kinesiology major. i think i’m going to change that this spring to bio or something else if i can. brian farr (athletic training prog director) if you are reading this, i do not like you and i hope you noticed that. long story, if you really care then ask me.
my sister’s wedding was amazing. so much fun, i got so drunk though lol. if and when i get married, it’ll be hard to top hers, it was perfect. meadowood and napa were beautiful, her dress was perfect... everything was so great. the only problem is that as of now, i haven’t found a single picture that i made it into (taken by friends and stuff, the professional proofs aren’t back yet) except for half of me in one of my dad dancing like an idiot. (he was drunk too lol)
i’m going to telluride tomorrow with my sister, her husband, and her stepson as kind of a nanny so they have some alone time. i’m terrified that i’m going to hurt/kill myself because i havent been skiing in probably 6 or 7 years. this should be interesting.
i got a job as an afterschool nanny for this family in senna hills (out on bee caves). they’re from canada and they’re really nice. except for the 7 year old, tim. he has a terrible temper problem and throws, slams, stomps, kicks and hits whatever is nearest to him, including me. and he never listens to anything, he just shouts no at me. today was the worst when he tried to run away and i finally turned around and ignored him and he came back. (keep in mind i’ve only gone 6 times now total and already...) so today i told her that i think she should talk to him and if he hits me again and doesnt start respecting me that i’m going to look for another job. the 5 yr old, justin is really cute though, he told me he loved me on day 2.
i also got a puppy, well, almost. i haven’t picked her up yet. i get back from telluride on sunday the 19th and i’m driving to dallas the 20th. on the way there (outside tyler... a little out of the way lol) i’m picking her up! she was born october 19 so she’ll be 9 weeks old when i get her. she’s ready now and i wish i werent going to telluride so i could get her now... but it’ll be fun i guess. i haven’t for sure decided what to name her. honey is my favorite i think. my mom and sister like sugar but i don’t really like that. did i mention she’s a golden retriever? anyways here’s a picture...
she’s the one sitting up. so cute. i can’t wait. now i just have to buy all the stuff to go with her. i was getting a boy... and the litter was due in january, but they went for the sonogram and there weren’t any puppies. so the breeder told me to call this other breeder and now i have a puppy now which is better anyways
i think thats about it for now... i have to go pack. i hope to see everyone in dallas over the holidays... but i’ll look forward to getting back to austin as always. merry christmas!
