Chix of '06!!!!!!!
So today proved to be quite good which was really really nice.
This morning the weather was horrible so Ryan and I decided to not go to Little Compton and just stay home which was actually quite nice. We just hung around and watched TV and I took a nap and he made me lunch. It was just nice.
After I left Ryan's I went to Julie's to go pick up a dress for tonight and then headed home, where I kind of just vegged out for the afternoon. Quite boring, but quite relaxing.
Then I went to Kat's to get ready for the Chix of '06 Party at Mak's tonight. After much primping we were joined by Jill and Ashlie and then took some more pictures and then headed out. The ride way quite fun, singing at the top of our lungs while Jill braided Ashlie's hair. :-)
The party was a lot better than I had orignally expected. First off, Mackenzie decorated everything amazingly. It was all pink and sparkly and just awesome. She had this HUGE 2006 balloon and streamers everywhere and even decorated "Sir Edward" to become "Princess Edna" for the evening. Although it was an odd mix of poeple, it was quite fun. At one point the party was even crashed by Teddy. lol. We all laughed about things that have happened in the last four years, and our plans for the next 2 weeks ;-) and I totally loved the consensus that Ryan is the most beautiful boy in our school and for a bunch of the girls there he was their first crush at Feehan. We laughed about who used to date who and who everyone thought was hott and how funny it was thinking back to who was at Freshman cheerleading tryouts and so on. It really was quite nice.
The journey to the car after the party was amusing, as Mak lives at the top of a big hill and we had to walk down her driveway in heels to the car. The ride home was pretty much more singing at the top of our lungs, which was actually pretty nice. And now here I am. I am actually glad I went to the party, which is strange for me because I am way too much of a homebody. But it was really fun. Someone made a comment about how we should have done this before, and I must say I agree.
