Questions

Here's a list of questions that I've shamelessly stolen from tyswan over at nanowrimo.org.  They're great, and I'm going to use them in a last ditch attempt to keep my damn novel from becoming chick lit.

1. Why is this character in your novel?
2. What motivates this character?
3. What is this character’s fatal flaw?
4. What redeeming attribute do they have?
5. What will your character loose?
6. What will they learn?
7. How will they change?
8. What are their strengths?
9. What are their weaknesses?
10. What in their past makes them who they are today?
11. What event is the turning point for them in the novel?
12. What do they think of each other?
13. What are their dreams/aims/goals
14. What do they fear?
15. Which of their fears do they transcend?
16. What makes them able to transcend?
17. What crucial moment in their lives made them who they are today?
Anyway, I gave a little cheer like everyone else when Rumsfeld announced he was leaving, and hey, we have a somewhat balanced government now... though heaven knows no work will get done.
