But I'm almost done and was taking a quick break and came upon this:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/4/15/6556/58209. Now, I don't claim to keep up with current events as much as I should, I don't claim any particular political party having been disillusionned long ago, and I don't really think that someone who isn't a Christian can claim any authority on what faith, as a verb, should lead a Christian to do. I'm not even really thrilled with the tone that the author takes. However, I did find it interesting. However, I did find it telling as to Christianity's current PR (something I've only become more concerned about over the past few years, and yes, I do insist on using the term PR, it wakes people up to the reality of those who aren't within the church) among those outside or on the edges of the church as a whole. However, I did take the time to link to it, so take that for what it's worth.
Edit: Also, this whole sponsored journal thingy (
http://www.livejournal.com/site/accounts.bml) sounds interesting: I would like more userpics and the Scrapbook storage would be better than my current Flickr account, which I can't really count on for various reasons and am therefore using in a very limited manner. So, poll: would you hate me and quit reading my journal if I signed up? You'd only see the ads if you actually came to my journal, not on your friends list. I'd also play with the layout so that they aren't really annoying (they look like the ones on Google's search results page and would be off to the side like that.)
