Imposter

Puck broke into the school, dressed in all black, the hood of his sweatshirt pulled low over his face and the rest of his face blackened out with paint so the security cameras would not be able to recognize him, as he slowly made his way down the hallways of McKinley at three in the morning. He wasn’t taking any chances, he had been planning this for weeks and was not about to let it slip because some crazy teacher caught him in the school at three in the morning or the security camera’s were able to get a good look at his face. Once he was sure the hall was free of anybody, Puck dashed across it, made quick work of the lock on Mr. Schue’s door, then once inside quietly closed the door and sat the black back pack that he had stolen from Wal-Mart on Mr. Schue’s desk.

He quickly got to work, unzipping the back pack and pulling out the track suit that he was told was Sue Sylvester’s favorite. It had been easier to get this particular item then he had thought it would be, all he ended up having to do was take Becky out on a date to Breadstix and then the next day when Becky had picked up Sue’s dry cleaning she had passed this particular track suit on to Puck. He smirked as he tossed the track suit on the desk and pulled out everything else that he would need for the first phase of the most badass prank McKinley High had ever seen. It didn’t take long to get everything in place, and then Puck relocked Mr. Schue’s door before slipping out of the classroom and went ninja style all the way back out of the school and to his truck which was parked a street away.

Puck arrived at school the next morning the same time he always did, twenty minutes after the first bell had rung. He walked through the deserted hallways towards his locker where he got out the notebook that he used for all of his classes, or at least the classes that he attended. He was dieing to know the reaction of the first phase of the prank, ready to get on with the next phase but he had to wait for the right moment.

“Puckerman!” Mr. Schue shouted from the other end of the hall and Puck smirked. The second phase could start soon.

“Mr. Schue,” Puck greeted with a smirk causing Mr. Schue to shake his head.

“We need to go to Mr. Figgins office,” Mr. Schue stated sadly and Puck placed a shock look on his face.

“The fuck? I swear I haven’t done anything today Mr. Schue, I just got to school I haven’t had time to do anything,” Puck explained as he played along with his plan causing Mr. Schue to shake his head.

“Someone broke into my office last night,” Mr. Schue began, “They pulled a harmless prank, dressed a blow up doll in one of Sue’s track suits and a Sue Sylvester wig, and left it in my desk chair holding a box of chocolates. Sue’s pissed and she swears the guy on the security tape is you.”

Puck shook his head as he slammed the locker close, “Wasn’t me. I have an alibi.” Mr. Schue looked a little relieved at this causing Puck to smirk, “I was with Rachel all night.”

Whatever, he was smart enough to know he would need an alibi and the millions of times he has helped Rachel out with things, the girl owed him and surprisingly had even agreed to be his alibi once he had explained his plan in detail. He had thought she‘d say no at first, since it was sure to cause problems with Finn went the school found out, but she had laughed at the plan and told him in all her big words that she would do it.

“I’m going to have to ask her,” Mr. Schue stated, the doubt returning to his face.

Puck only shrugged as they started to walk towards Mr. Figgins office, Mr. Schue never even noticing the text that he sent to Becky telling her that as soon as Sue left Mr. Figgins office she need to tell her that she had been informed of a prank that involved the Cheerio’s trophies in her office.

Puck handed Rachel the throw away cell phone and she smiled as she took it, “By the way, I think Finn is planning on sucker punching you again because he thinks that we had intercourse.”

Puck shrugged, “Thanks for the heads up, now just make the call and ditch the phone. You still have the digital recorder?”

Rachel pulled it out of her pocket and showed it to Puck and he smiled, “Meet me at the front of the school as soon as the cops arrive. I need you right behind me with that thing for this to work.”

Rachel nodded her understanding as she placed the digital recorder back in her pocket and held the phone out in front of her. Puck watched as she dialed the numbers then held the phone up to her ear, “Yes, is this the Lima Police Department? I have some information you might want to have…”

Puck turned and left, he still needed to break the Sue doll out of Mr. Figgins office before the cops arrived.

“What is the meaning of this?” Sue demanded as one of the law enforcement officers slowly approached her.

“You are under arrest for impersonating Sue Sylvester,” The officer nervously stated as Sue glare up at him from behind her desk.

“I beg your pardon? I am Sue Sylvester,” Sue exclaimed, “Now get out of my office before I call the governor and have you fired.”

The officers exchanged a nervous glance but they proceeded forward, “We got a tip a little while ago that someone was in Sue Sylvester’s office impersonating her. We need to take you in until we have this straightened out,” The officer explained again, “Otherwise we’ll have to arrest you for attempting arrest as well.”

Sue glared at the officers again before laying her pen down on top of the papers, “Well fellows, I’ll go willing and when you find out you have the wrong person I will have you fired.”

When she stood up however one of the officers quickly grabbed her wrists, throwing them behind her back and handcuffing them, “We can’t take any chances of you trying to escape.”

Puck stood around the corner, watching the gathering of students who had left class to watch Sue get arrested and smirked, this was working out way better then he had planned. He turned to Rachel and they shared a smile. “I’m going to go out there, you need to set this thing up towards the back of the crowd, but close enough for the cops to see it. Then hit play on the digital recorder, leave it sitting right behind this thing and leave. Come back around another way and join the crowd, make sure you are seen then.”

Rachel nodded, “Thanks for letting me help.”

Puck only shrugged as he took off, pushing his way through the crowd and coming to a stop in the front just as the cops were struggling to get Sue inside. “Damn, I thought you guys were here for me,” Puck exclaimed causing one of the cops, Officer Sanchez, to turn around and shake his head.

“Not this time Puckerman, but I’m sure if we stuck around long enough we’d be able to arrest you,” Officer Sanchez replied as he turned his attention back to the struggle of getting Sue in the back of the squad car.

“Puckerman, next time you dine and dash make sure I’m not there,” Officer Taylor added with a shake of the head, “You’re just lucky my wife would let me chase after you while I was off duty.”

“I was hoping you would,” Puck replied then shrugged, “You look like you could use the exercise.”

The benefits of being a juvenile delinquent, he knows all the cops in town and when he is around and not the cause of the trouble they are actually pretty cool with him. Puck’s certain it’s because they are relieved that it’s not him they are having to arrest.

“You pull any pranks yet?” Officer Sanchez asked as he gave Sue a good push and Puck shook his head.

“Hell no,” Puck exclaimed as he took that moment to look behind him and see that Rachel had the doll set in place, “Badasses don’t pull pranks. Who is that anyway?”

Puck motioned to Sue and controlled his face as Officer Sanchez and Officer Taylor continued to struggle with her, “We don’t know yet. We got a tip that she’s impersonating Sue Sylvester, but the way she’s fighting I’m starting to wonder if the tip we got was bogus. Do you recognize her?”

Puck looked Sue right in the eyes, winked, and then shook his head, “Never seen her before.”

At that moment Rachel must had hit the digital recorder to play because at full volume the Sue doll started to shout, “Get out of my way you maggots before I have you all shipped to military school! I said beat it!”

“That’s Sue back there,” Puck offered as the officers returned to the struggle.

“Puck!” Rachel screamed as she ran up to him, grabbing a hold of his arm. “Puck, we need to get out of here, Sue thinks that you are behind the imposter that infiltrated her office.”

Puck’s eyes widened then looked over at Officer Sanchez who nodded, “Don’t worry Puckerman; we’ll make sure you don’t get dragged into this.”

“Thanks,” Puck muttered before taking off, Rachel still holding onto his arm. Around them the Sue doll was still screaming insults and students were running around in panic and nobody had even realized it was just a blow up doll in a track suit and wig yet. This was the most badass prank this school had ever seen.

The Journal of One Sue Sylvester

The senior prank. It’s that time of year again, and seniors around the school are doing their pathetic attempts at pulling off a prank. Letting chickens lose in the hallways, child’s play. The one good thing is I have managed to put the fear into all of these snot nosed little brats that no one has ever attempted to prank me. So I walk around with my protein shake and mocked their childish attempts at pulling off a master minded prank, all the while knowing that it will not be my car I have to take the saran wrap off of, that is until Puckerman. The kid may have a one way ticket to a live time sentence at the Ohio State Prison, and maybe I was a little disappointed when it had appeared the juvenile delinquent had lost his touch at first but. Bravo Puckerman, bravo. One day when you are rotting away in your prison cell I just might use my influence with the Ohio State Prison Board to make it so you can receive a visitor every once in a while.
