oh so interesting
so it's been an interesting couple of days.....
Benita and I saw 'In her shoes' and we liked it. We also made a pact that this coming week was going to be an amazing week. I'm going to get shit done and forget about my issues from the past. Need to look at the future, Like school. Then I went out to East Lansing to meet up with Brad and some of his friends. We ended up going to a Halloween party, and it was a lot of fun. Was a slutty school girl, lol. It went over quite well :-) Brad thinks I have a hot body, and so did a bunch of random guys at the party, which was nice to hear as I have such a body complex. He and I ended up taking taxi back to his friends house because I was exhausted and it took FOREVER to get there. Made tenative plans to see each other next Sunday. and I didn't let him kiss me.... such a prude.
then comes Saturday. kicked ass at my flag football game. I was put in charge of the QB, and I totally frustrated him. had a "sack" and a touch down. the boys were so proud of me. lol. Alex finally got here around 7, after I had dinner cooked for over a half hour and drank 3/4 of a bottle of wine. ate dinner, took a run to East Lansing because James needed me to get something for him.... I am so nice to my lil brother's friends. lol. went to Coldstone, came back here and chilled. and for the first time in a year and a half, I was able, when I was in the position to, to say that there would be no sex. and he listened, although I suspect he was irritated because he wanted to. I have to admit, I pondered doing it just because Doug's probably fucking that chick, but I need to actually want to for once, do it when I'm ready, not just because I'm scared not to. But it all went ok, and I now I take a deep breath, because I looked one of my fears in the eye and stared it down...... Alex left around 2:30ish? 1:30ish with the time change? I dunno. he had to work in the morning.
now today, I will be doing lots of work. meeting with Trang and Phil at the library to do some property goodness. go to the gym hopefully later. watch desperate housewives and grey's anatomy. this week, session with Dr. Simon (oh this will be a fun one). lots of homework. Possibly going out for Indian new year for dinner with Sanj and Benita. gym. seeing Tom in GR on Saturday. It will be a good week, because dammit I'm determined that it will be. No more drama. please.
