Julie's surgery went well, no complications, and while she still feels pretty crummy, every day is remarkably better than the day before.
I bought a wedding dress this weekend. It's exciting, but I'm having buyer's remorse over part of it. Somehow I let myself get suckered into also buying a veil, which cost about half as much as the dress. Ridiculous! It's very pretty, of course, but ... I blame it on my mom. Anyway, yes, the dress is beautiful and no, you can't see it. Everyone has to wait until the wedding day or at least closer to - when I can't help myself anymore and want to show it off. :)
I'm back on track for NaNoWriMo. Whoo hoo! I started a new story about a week in and I like it much better than what I was working on before.
