So today was another fun day.
I woke up at like, 7 something because my Dad and Pete were talking rather loudly outside...
Oh well, I was just about woken up.
I then took my shower and got ready for the day and my Aunt Nancy made me a plain bagel on PLAIN cream cheese- because as Nora puts it, I'm SUCH a boring person :)
Thennnn some guy from Enterprise actually came into my Aunt's gated community and picked us up. Speaking of the word "gated", I'll have to tell you all about how cool my "Uncle" Pete is...
So when my Aunt Nancy and Pete were first looking at the community they're living in right now, the people told him "Well, it's a gated community" and in his amazing German accent said "Oh.. oh. I have no problem with those people"
I'm still laughing at that...

AND YESTERDAY. I forgot- we went to go visit my Grandpa, and on the way there my Aunt was telling me about the "escapees" because it's an alheimers place, so ya know the old men and women there... they're funny. Haha. And she was telling me about how the men there line the ladies up in their wheelchairs against the doors and scream in their old men voices "We're getting out of here!" and try to break through the locked doors that hold them in the building. And how this guy named Bob always asks my Aunt if he can get a ride to the corner and his car's right at the corner waiting for him. Haha. Gotta love old alzheimer people! :D

Anyways, yes. I must have ADD, thanks for asking.

So that guy picked us up from Enterprise in a veryyyy roomy van type deal. It was so cool. Too bad that's not the actual car we were getting :/
We got this small car- decent size, actually. A little bigger OR the same size as my Mom's Saturn... oh well. It works. Fits me and my Dad rather nicely. And as my Dad was pulling out of the Enterprise station, he goes "Woah. This thing really goes! Haha. Guess that's a good thing in a car! :D Well yeah, and it has a really good airconditioning system.

So we started driving the 200 or 300 mile something drive to Punta Gorda from New Port Richey where my Aunt lives. We saw a buncha hurricane damage on the way, but mostly everything was cleaned up. At one point during our drive, I saw absoulutely NO palm trees and couldn't even tell we were in Florida! :( I don't care what anyone says, palm trees are what makes Florida, Florida.

Once we got into Punta Gorda, we found our way to my Uncle Jim's house rather nicely. His house. Is thee. Biggest. House. I. Have. EVER. SEEN OR BEEN IN. Oh my freaking goodness. Oh well ya know. That's what they get for having really nice paying jobs :) I'll post pictures when I get back, of COURSE! I walked into the house thinking "I've changed since last time Uncle Jim saw mee... since Captiva- that's when he last visited the Kamskdasjdnsjnski family..." and then it occured to me "Wow. Aunt Connie hasn't seen me since... what was it? 1998? 1999? Wow. So I had a nice catch-up conversation with them...

So I met dear baby JAK today. Oh god. He's a dolllll. I mean, he's sooo adorable, and he's so much fun to play with. I haven't gotten many pictures with him yet. I will tomarrow, of course.

Tonight I'm sleeping in a room where they have 2-3 units to work out on. It kinda looks like an extra room. They're gunna put out an aerobed for me, while my Dad of course gets the guest bedroom. That's how it should be. Haha I wouldn't make him sleep on the floooor! That would be oh-so-mean.

So yes. This trip has been good so far.

Today I bought batteries for my cammmmera. Thank god. The moment I turned on my camera the other day, it shut down on me. I know, what a jerk :/

We went out to eat today and some seafood restaurant right on the water with Jim's Mom and his brother Bob (or should I say, Father Bob- yes, folks. He is a priest...) I had a really nice conversation with them and stuff.

Yeah. This update is wayyy too long, and Uncle Jim probably wants me back out there. It's too late to be on the computer at a guest's house! Geesh.

I miss you all!
