I feel like I've been so busy lately.
PROBABLY BECAUSE I HAVE.
The Dome show went really well on Saturday. I was glad everyone showed up, and got to see us perform. Especially people like Emily Gasper, who I had the pleasure of sharing breakfast with that morning, and Kelly Nicholson, who I love dearly. I was glad Jen came too, I haven't seen her in ages.
I found out later that night that Ryan Mills went to the show, when he IMed me saying we weren't bad... I didn't even know he was there! I'm guessing that wasn't a coincidence.
Anyway, Sunday was Gavin day. He wanted to go to Red Lobster for some odd reason, so we did, and it wasn't bad. We did the usual until he left at around 10:30... He got his senior picture proofs back, I can't wait to see them.. He's so handsome :)<3
Monday was a pretty laid back day.. I haven't had one of those in a while, after a straight week practicing and hanging out with Meg, Michele, Sam, and Vince.
Today Des came over, because she's back from Ocean City. I missed her like crazy, and she got me this really sweet necklace. I love her to death<3 We hung out here until 5 when Meg and Sam picked us up, we went to Michele's, and practiced for about an hour and a half.
Anyway, after practice Meg dropped Sam off, and her Des and I went to Larissa's house in Throop to meet her, Vince, and Chris, and we went across the street to this picnic that was giving out free food and t-shirts :D
Scott from Just a Thought sent us a message on Myspace saying the show on Saturday was cancelled, and we were bummin, but Meg's cousin put it all together, and she figured she would have gotten a call from her... So she happened to be working at the picnic, and she told us it was all on for Saturday, and she had no idea where Scott had gotten that idea.
So, FYI: Throop Civic Center, 6:00, Saturday August 5th.
After eating, and hanging out, we went to Turkey Hill, got ice cream sandwiches, and watched TV until the fireworks started. They were quite good actually.
Soon after that, Meg dropped Des and I back at my house, where we sang happy birthday to my Dad and ate cake... She left at 11, and now I'm stuck here with my insomnia :)
This weekend is going to be pretty intense.
Warped Tour Friday.
Acoustic Set for the Crafts Show Saturday afternoon at the Dome,
then show at the Civic Center that evening.
And Sunday might turn out be this huge party at this rich kid's house in Clarks Summit with his band and the Window Shoppers.
I'm pretty excited though :)
