What the hell is the point of an e-card? The whole concept of sending a card is that you took the time to go out of your way and buy a token of your expression (preferably with a note inside), not sit on your ass and dash off some EMAIL. It's just counter-intuitive. My grandmother sent me an e-card awhile back, congradulating me for graduating high school or getting into SAIC or something, and while I was impressed that she was able to demonstrate some technical ability, the whole sentiment was lost. It was so effortless and impersonal. E-cards are wrong.
