This gets me everytime.
I logged on to my youtube account and I find that there's one comment waiting for me. It's a comment on the Water Rats episode "A Day at the Office." Don't read anymore if you haven't watched this episode before/plan to watch the full episode and don't want spoilers.
(
Spoilers for Water Rats season four: )
And it's sort of like an Australian Spooks because I'm getting reminders of the Adam/Fiona ending.... although in Water Rats they're police?

Truthfully I've never actually seen the episode of Fiona's death; I've only seen clips of it through Adam's flashbacks in series 5. I'll have to watch it sometime if it's as sad as Rachel's death in WR. I loved Rachel. :(

You should watch it. I was never that attatched to Fiona, but her death was still sad; I just kept thinking of Wes. :(

Which episode was it in series 4? Wes was adorable! I liked Fiona but never liked Adam. When Adam died I was almost glad (I sound evil!) but then the scene with Harry and Wes came and it was dreadful. He's an orphan. :(

But, back to the point, I cheered, and then the scene with Harry and Wes came on and I got really sad. It wasn't for Adam in the least, but because Wes had just known what had happened without saying a word.

Badass Ros + hot Lucas + human Ros + spy!gran Connie + you-can't-beat-her!Ros + Jo's gorgeous haircut + no Adam = OMG IM IN LOVE♥
lol.
Spooks have a thing for doing that don't they? Scenes where no-one speaks, but you and they just know. Like the bed scene at the beginning of 8.5. Heart-breaking stuff.

All those things you describe are what make it, yep. I'm getting all excited just remembering the awesome. LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE.
They do, and they do it brilliantly. That scene I think was actually 8.4, but yes, it broke my heart. Those are the scenes where I get all squirmy-feeling and uncomfortable and then once it's over my brain finally processes what just happened and I cry an embarrassing amount. *g*
