Fantastically Successful Morning...

Nov 05, 2007 11:20

After waking up from a dream where I was on fire (the fever is getting to me...) I stumbled out of bed and prepared to primp. I had a meeting with a potential advisor for Business Administration so I wanted to look proper so I could get some great advice for registration. So after Italian at 9:00 (where I was one of only 4 people in the class that did the homework assignment - Antonella was not pleased, it was so sad) I talked to Tommy for a minute (who is just as sick as me...) and I hightailed it over to Chandler Hall and talked to Professor Frackelton, who looks and sounds exactly like my Uncle Currell, it was amazing. He told me which classes were wisest for starting the major as a Sophomore, and I worked them into my schedule to get ready to register for classes at 11:00. I already had my declaration cards filled out, so I just wandered down the hall and gave them to the secretary, and I was declared for Business Administration!

Jenni called me and I chatted with her for a minute on my way back to Combs Hall. I was on a mission to declare...again! I got to the English, Communications, and Speech Department and gave my cards to another secretary, and I was declared for English! Ahh, what a great day...

I was back here in my room by 10:30 and I tinkered around with the EagleLink Portal to make sure my classes still had available seats...I hate registration, it makes me so nervous...I always want to make sure I have the very best classes so I don't have to bother with Drop/Add season...so the Banner clock is about 5 minutes slower than the clock on my computer, so I was clicking frantically trying to get into Banner the second I was able to...Once I was in I had a dyslexia attack and I was so very careful to make sure I punched in the right numbers, and I GOT ALL THE CLASSES I WANTED! YAYY!!

So that's it for now...I think I need to go to the Health Center, I feel like crap and I can't stop coughing up stuff...Gross...

More later...
