Class Schedule for Next Semester...
I just registered this morning for my classes for Fall 2007...It was so hectic, I was pulling my hair out around 6:00 am when I checked to make sure my classes were still open...I HAD LOST 3 CLASSES OVERNIGHT!!! I'm officially stuck with only 2 English classes...I wanted a lot more than that...But here's what it looks like:
MonWedFri:
9:00 - 9:50 = Beginning Italian
11:00 - 11:50 = Anthropology 101 (Don't need it at all...)
TuesThurs:
11:00 - 12:15 = Volleyball
12:30 - 1:45 = Existentialism (Got the last spot! Yay!)
3:30 - 4:45 = British Victorian Novel (Not my forte, but we'll see...)
6:00 - 7:15 = New World Writings in the Colonial Period (No idea, looks interesting...)
So that's 16 credits, only 7 of which are classes I had actually wanted to take...How the hell can they require Linguistics 101 for the English Major, and then not only let everyone take all 4 of the damn classes (which we all know are the upperclassmen that rode on that "Undecided" major for too long and just now realized "Hey, Linguistics is like, uh, about, ya know, words n stuff...I use words...I should learn about words...Or like, go tanning outside the English building, like, whatever...I probably won't even go to the class...Hey, only one spot left for registration? Mine!"), but then fill up ALL of the upper-level English courses, before I get to register...This is all about me, I am going to change the way we look at Literature, and here they won't let me finish the requirements...That's it, it's on...
Having ranted about getting my future English classes, I presently have a massive English paper to write, and haven't even finished all the research for it...I don't see myself doing very well...B+/A- at best...
Still plagued with thoughts...Enjoying it, for the meantime...Although, making it hard to focus on studying...Whatever, dance in an hour and a half, so that makes the day worth living at this point...
