This is my delighted face

Shot-by-shot from io9, for those of us with somewhat slower processing speeds.

1) Dear tumblr commentators: Steve was probably not actually in a barbershop quartet. I am fairly certain he was joking. He does that.

It is kind of hilarious that Natasha is apparently taking over Bucky's role in Steve's life, though. Except I very much doubt they double date. OH MY GOD NOW I WANT TO SEE THEM ON A DOUBLE DATE. With, like, two completely random people who end up terrified.

2) Natasha's hair is better in motion, though I still don't love it. I would love them forever if she actually put it up in a ponytail or a braid or something which she was working, but I know better. (To be fair, I know there are stuntperson issues with that kind of thing. But still.)

3) Wait. The raccoon eyes are real? That wasn't just something they had on the actor to work with the goggles, or whatever? I... okay, movie, but please don't make me put up with it for the entire time, because then I will be giggling when I shouldn't be.

4) Uh, is the Potomac really big enough to crash a flying aircraft carrier into it? I feel that something like that will be problematic for DC. I mean, the traffic nightmare alone.

5) My favorite bit was probably the WS just, you know, idly moving out of the way as the exploding car slides by. Enjoy your badassery, baby! You are likely to be extremely depressed in a few days, which will cut down on your opportunities for enjoyment.

6) Oh, God, Steve visiting the Captain America exhibit. I kind of can't imagine. I mean, does he watch the Howling Commandos episode of American Experience? (You know they did one.) The terrible, terrible made-for-TV movies? Fact-check the biographies? (I'm fairly certain the answer to all of those questions is No.)

In summary: As always, Steve Rogers needs a hug. The end.
