You know, a lot of my "wheeeee!" reaction to the new Star Trek movie can probably be explained by the fact that my gut-level response to the question "what is at the heart of your attachment to the original Star Trek crew" is "The Trouble with Tribbles and Star Trek IV." Comedy and wackiness FTW!
