Sorry to see JV/J out first, but much as I like the idea of their story (her 9/11 brother), I didn't quite ever warm up to them.
Eric/Danielle = Team Who? for me.
Kevin/Drew did not show to best advantage in this ep - in Season 1 they were, indeed, a favorite team. Such classic quotes! "Swing, you fat bastard!" and "It's Namibia, jackass." - ah, good times, although maybe you had to be there. *g*
Teri/Ian bugged a lot the first time around; I'm hoping for better now.
I actually don't mind Rob/Amber; they're arguably wearing out their ## minutes of fame, but they know how to play the game and run the race.
Uchenna/Joyce - I'm sorry to hear that their win didn't mean Happily Ever After, but I'd like to see someone else win this time.
I can see the Beauty Queens as All-stars, since they did show some mad racing skillz, but David/Mary? Puh-leez.
Charla/Mirna are my love-to-hate team, mostly for Mirna and her stupid "rapido!" habit, but also on general principles. Charla+anyone else could be OK, but Mirna+anyone else will always be teh hate.
I know that Team Guido are popular villains, but I kinda like them. Not as much as I lurve Team Cha, but I don't mind them.
I hated Eric and his horndog partner so much that season, oh my God. (At least I've forgotten the other guy's name...) I am not thrilled to see him back, and I'm a little worried that he'll be good enough to keep them in the game for a long time.
Oh well. At least it isn't what's-his-name and Victoria!
