A rec and mourning
First, the rec: Something Sweet, which minnow1212 wrote just for me but you all can share it, because I'm nice like that. Teal'c-centric, S9.
He does misstep, unfortunately; while hiking offworld, he tells his team members about his upcoming appointment. This provokes a long, free-wheeling discussion between Colonel Mitchell and Daniel Jackson about Novocaine, laughing gas, needles, that time that the Air Force food was so bad that this guy Jenkins chipped a tooth, root canals, and the etymology of the phrase, "long in the tooth."
At one point Teal’c looks over at Colonel Carter, striding next to him, and raises an eyebrow. She rolls her eyes in response. After that, the two of them walk along in companionable silence.
And last, the mourning: It's Amazing Race time! Which is good. But it's on top of Scrubs! Which makes me sad. I'll choose Amazing Race, on the theory that Scrubs sometimes gets reruns and Amazing Race does not, but still: Sob! I'll miss you, Scrubs! Don't get cancelled while I'm gone!
