I liked it pretty much tbh
Better than London in some ways
And now let's have a late ramble
Train down was all good. At Wigan I saw Nathaniel, but as I haven't seen or spoken to him in 2 years I didn't speak to him then either. Sort of feel like I should have because it would have been nice
When I got to Wolverhampton I spotted Claire, who though I don't know her well, she is a fellow Hetalian who I know a little =]
So I caught the train to Telford with her and her mate Lizzie(I think), good times
Mike+Nic picked me up at the station and then dropped me off at the International Centre straight away which was a bit pointless tbh xD
I hung around for a bit waiting, then Claire walked through the door so I stuck to her =p
Ellie(?) came along too, who I know I've met before but know less than Claire, which isn't say much. She was gonna be Iceland but got convinced to be Prussia, which meant we had his awesomeness following us around all day =D
Eventually Robyn came and we went inside the hall.
Twas nice because it was quite like London but just less crowded
I didn't buy anything, didn't look at anything, because I knew I had no money to spend (and yet somehow I managed to spend £80 over half term ¬¬)
But we spent most of our time sitting outside
Spoke to Jake a bit which was nice, had a rambley discussion about DavidTennant!Doctor, of which there were a couple of cosplayers but none special enough that I took a picture =p
Miri came along at some point too, who I don't think I've actually spoken to before, but possibly have a little bit of a crush randomly =p
(and yes Mike, if you're reading this, I do still hate that word in general, but it describes the situation well)
And we had random treks into the shopping centre and back and forth to the train station
Robyn went home, Bad Touch Trio went to Ann Summers, some people got ice cream (randomly) and that's pretty much the day
Went back to the train station where the others went home and I went home with Mike+Nic
We didn't do much really, watched Serenity and Staragte:Continuum, of which I love both
In the morning we had some nice pancakes for breakfast and spent the rest of the day watching The Lost Boys, Constantine and the celeb dancing thing for Sports Relief from saturday night
Exciting stuff =p
Was great seeing them again though =]
I almost missed my train home from Telford, but got on with seconds to spare =p
Got home and was shattered and have been very sleepy until today, when I'm just a little tired
So all in all a good weekend
I really liked Midlands cause of less people, but it had enough to make it fun
