Dreams 'n' Things

I always think I'm going to post again before a week passes and then I don't. I've opened up the Post an Entry page several times, even, but nothing. And I've actually been doing stuff! Alas, my laziness is vast and deep.

-Had a dream where I was in Scotland. There were centaurs. Some of them were playing the bagpipes, which is one way that I knew it was Scotland. Tricky centaurs.

-Jeska and I went and saw Mamma Mia! and laughed through the whole thing. Possibly we weren't supposed to be laughing quite that hard, but it was hilarious. She also got me the best early birthday present ever--a sonic screwdriver. It's totally sonic! That day I also got my Spaced DVDs, so it was a very good day.

-Pimped Doctor Horrible all over the place. Seriously. Jeska and I are working on the harmonies for our own edification.

-Saw Stepbrothers at a midnight showing with Jeska's friend, (my friend now?) Nick, and some of his friends. My therapist would be proud that I was with a bunch of relatively unknown people and didn't freak the hell out. Which I didn't. It was fine. Yay Lexapro! Afterwards, Nick drove me home in his hella cool car and we belted "Let's Get Fucked Up and Die" all the way home with the windows rolled down. And I finally felt like a teenager.

-Went to Trinity's practice run of Funny Thing Happened... and enjoyed it immensely. Got to see a bunch of the little ones and some old friends. Mr. Width was so nice and it made me miss Advanced Acting rather a lot. Went and hung out in the green room for a while afterwards with David Gittess, A.K.A. Butters who is a tremendously cool person.

-Dark Knight again with Butters and Jeska was fantastic, especially because we had the addition of Japanese candy that David got me for an early birthday present. Mmmm Pocky. And those drinks with the glass ball thing in them. Delicious. Then we went to my house and played with the Wii. Good times.

-Jeska and I met up with Nick and another Katie at Chili's, then went to her house to play with her kitten, whose name is Hoggle, like the little guy from Labyrinth. Adorable, the whole thing. Then we watched Serenity at Nick's house because Jeska had finally seen the whole series and it was time for the big finish. It was understandably upsetting.

Aaaaaand my birthday is tomorrow. I'm fairly certain it's going to be depressing as all hell. I've no real plans, and my parents are possibly going to an Urban League dinner thing so we're doing birthday dinner tonight. Wooh?
