You really don't need to read this. It's to remind me that I've actually gone out and done some things this summer.
-First, happy 21st birthday to one Jeska Hoffmanov. James came down from Gainesville and we met up with Jeska's friend Nick to watch Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Then good times at Friday's and inappropriate photos were had by all.
-Hung about watching Doctor Who on Wednesday, and that's pretty much that day.
-Thursday, hung out with Jeska some more and got her hooked on Doctor Who by watching a sampler platter of my favorite episodes.
-At midnight, we saw Wanted, and it was super cool. James McAvoy is ridiculously good-looking, as is Angelina Jolie, though a bit skinny.
-Went to Steak 'n' Shake after that, hung around for a few hours, then went to Nick's to watch Firefly.
-Got home and went to bed around 5 AM.
-Woke up at nine to call in for work, then spent the rest of the day not sleeping.
-Around 9:15, Jeska called saying Tim is in town and so we went to surprise him outside of Urinetown where we also saw a bunch of old Trinity kids, with whom we then went to the same Steak 'n' Shake that we had patronized that very morning.
-Went to work today for a couple hours then came home, ate, and prayed that some beautiful person from Britain would put up the newest Doctor Who for us poor North Americans who have to wait for it. Why the SciFi channel is 3 weeks behind is beyond me.
Aaaand that's why I haven't been posting so much recently. Busy and tired, mhmm. That's my excuse.
