well, maybe it still doesn't, but at least my couch is being slept on by it's "owner" again... luna and i feel much better now, we were feeling neglected.... talking in code, i know.

anyway, if anyone wants to roadtrip it over spring break, let me know. i need to get out of tampa for awhile.

I'm a Detroiter, but I've lived in Grand Rapids, most of livingston and wastenaw counties and some of macomb.

hellll no it's not in the UP.... that horrid land of no freeways or cell phone service... bleh. no, pentwater is on lake michigan, about four hours north of chicago and four hours northwest of detroit. about 1.5 hours from GR. i spent a lot of time in GR, and a lot of my friends from high school live there now.

What is the UP? I know a lady from work was talking about it with another person from Michigan and I didn't want to interrupt the conversation. Is it bad to be from the UP?

Nah, not bad really, but I can't stand it up there. No freeways, no cell phone signals, freezing.... well, more freezing :)
