Summary: Chaos reigns in the epidemic of ghosts. People kill each other, even in an apocalyptic shroud. When you live through tragedy, you turn to anything in order to cope. You loot stores not for food but for toothpaste, so you can use it to mask the smell of decaying bodies. Katie turns to sex. Naomi turns to alcohol. Pandora turns to Cook and Thomas, and they in turn seek her as well. JJ locks on. Effy splinters. Freddie drifts.
Author's Notes: Written for apocabigbang. Urgh, I don't know if I'll ever be satisfied with this. This is the first time I've written a story with such a large cast, so I hope everything seems consistent! Also, this was written way before S4 premiered, so it's only S3 compliant. Thanks to the lovely yesssirrr for beta-ing this story!
