(no subject)
my day in a nutshell, since i havent written a nutshell in a while:
this morning i woke up at 9, grabbed my lovely roomie monica, and headed off down guadelupe for a quick jamba run. on the way back, we saw a man wearing a crazy clown wig and platform clogs and a dear little dress. haha. daily sights of austin!!!
then all 18 of us romped around by bus and foot in 90+ degree weather until we found barton springs, where we went swimming in a pool supplied by 68-degreed fresh spring water and it was perfection. =) and i got TANNN! but sh, dont tell my mom. =)
now for some rememberies--
- breaking my bed just as everyone came in to meet me. and "aren't you the girl who didn't have an airport?"
- *monicas hand thing* "just KIDDING!"
- eating ice. "...is not a meal."
- ferris's nametag: BUELLER
- ed and his vast knowledge of sex, which he proudly displays in class
- everyone: "wheres paul?"
- jon: "wheres my sippy cup?"
- playing chinese poker with king, ferris, paul, and peter, the white boy who beat out all us asians
- eds hair!! and jons hair! yay for boy hair.
- "we sleep together."
- getting facebook...thanks nick!
- "so...what's a community?"
- to raise or not to raise our hands
- nick, on our blogspot username: "boustraphenon is TAKEN! and they only made one post in 2004!"
- ed, on gigglemesh (monica and my mispronounciation of gilgamesh): "cool. like a warrior who thinks everything's funny and wears fishnets."

- breaking out into "i will survive" on the way to target
- monica, on pronouncing target: "tarjaaayyy"
- king + yellow fever
- ivana, on a certain someone: "i dont like him. hes creepy. and a pervert."
- rachel, on gilgamesh during seminar: "so he just screws a virgin a day..."
- monica, on the construction sounds that wake us up: "are they ALLOWED to do that?"
- tracy, on everything exciting: "SUHWEEEET!"
- varun and katlin. hhahha. "i didn't know stanford was in california!"
- random man on street, on monica: "ohhh...its a blackkkkk lady!!"
- an inconvenient truth...i love al gore! save the world!
- water skiing on the algae at the bottom of the spring
okay the intercom says dinner. TACO TIME! happy summmmerrr!
