how i became a (crazy, obsessed) Silva fangirl
ok, you might notice me commenting on every Silva fanfic here on LJ (i just love them), and like i said in one of my comments, i'm a new silva fangirl, so how did it all start?
well it all started in the world cup, i followed it all the way - and i ended up falling in love with the whole Spanish national team. i loved them all and then i went through their individual profiles - and then i stumbled upon a certain David Silva - it said he was part Asian and then i was kind of intrigued cos i barely saw him on the pitch and i was like, hhhmmm.. this guy sounds mysterious (not to mention cute) ;)
and then the world cup came to its inevitable end, but i wanted to see them play again so i was looking forward to that friendly they had against Mexico (cos i miss them already), and just when i thought they're gonna lose that game, Mr. Mystery David Silva scored an equalizing, not to mention awesome, goal. and that was the start of my Silva fangirling..lol
i learned that he transferred to Manchester City from his previous club Valencia so i had to follow the Premier League to get a glimpse of him every week. i've appreciated football before but i haven't really followed a particular league or supported a club whatsoever
and then what followed was Silva fangirling to the max week after week, i discovered tumblr first because of him, and then LJ
also, i learned about his OTPs - Silvilla, Silva/Alexis, Silva/Johnson and etc. i say i don't really have an official OTP but if i have to chose, i think i like Silva/Villa the best cos it's so full of angst, drama, history, and sex (lol)..and since i watch a lot of City's games - i also love the Silva/Johnson tandem
