Today I am wearing my hair down for the first time in weeks, or maybe months, all thanks to balooky and our kitchen scissors - she is a hairdressing genius! There's a layer in it and everything. (Also, I was able to buy the wine for her! \o/ I didn't even get looked at funny.)
Another awesome person is cool_rain_kiss, who made me Elliot/Cassadee icons! Also boweryd for hers. IL all OTP icon makers. ♥ Of course this did mean that I just had to go through my icons and perform the harrowing task of deleting some of the old ones ;__; At some point nearly all of them will be bandom and that will be weird. But yay new icons! I promised to pay cool_rain_kiss in a picspam, but that's coming later. It will be themed.
I decided to delete everything off my mp3 player and start again last night, because it wass full of random crap I had no interest in listening to and annoyed me. This seems, on the face of it, a fairly sensible run of the mill decision doesn't it? Well yes, except for the part where I decided to start this project at about 11.30pm and due to some technical fuckery didn't manage to finish till gone 2am. Go me! Preparing well for the weekend. However I do now have an mp3 player full of things I actually want to listen to, so that's a positive. In honor of this, have a meme! Guess the song and artist from the lyric - no googling!

In other musical news, I am very fond of the new The Academy Is... song (take a listen peeps) and I don't usually like them that much, apart from a few songs. I might try to get hold of the new EP, but apparently it isn't on sale in physical format anywhere but the FBR store? IDK, anyone got details on that?
Spoke to my wee sister about Christmas plans last night. Understandably, Mum and Dad don't want to have to come out to the airport two days in a row so we're trying to engineer it so we arrive on the same day. The only day we can both get flights is Monday 21 December, but the Luton flight on that day leaves at 7.30am, which means check in will be at like 6am. Ugh. I think I'm just going to get the very latest train there that I can and hang out overnight at the airport - it looks like I'd get there about 2.30am, so that's not too bad, right? Right? /o\ Also I get to hang out at Bordeaux airport too, because I get in at 10am and Jillo and Matt won't get in until about 4pm. Mum and Dad will probably come and hang with me for at least part of that. Or they can come and get me at 10 and we can go to the big shopping centre with Ikea and everything nearby for a few hours. Ignoring the fact that I'll be tired and grumpy and smelly by this point. Oh, I how love travelling - I could never be a backpacker!
Less than 2 weeks till the start of term. Eep! I wonder if freshers' flu will be of the swine variety this year?
And a jolly note to end on: I definitely made a good decision in following Pegg and Wright. Simon Pegg is just about to board a flight to America:
