How did I ever forget how much I love Green Day? I really really love them and I feel all 15 listening to them again! Thanks, Spotify. Tragically though, it is too late for me to get tickets for the O2 even thought I really want them.
klo_the_hobbit and I got excited yesterday because Ticketmaster made it look like there were tickets again, but there aren't. Boo, Ticketmaster, I hate you.
Life has been ticking along as ever. Went to see Inglourious Basterds last week and loved it. I would recommend it to everyone, except people who dislike violence and gore and loud noises, that is. It is Tarantino, after all. Went to the Kings' at the weekend and took Megan to see the Hannah Montana movie. Except of course she was merely a way to get us into the kids club showing and we all really wanted to see it anyway, and it was surprisingly good! On a Disney movie scale of good, but still, I really enjoyed it. (500) Days of Summer was last night and that was good too. Thumbs up current cinema. JGL has an excellent wardrobe in that movie too - lots of ties and cardigans and a slim-line suit or two. I do love him - I don't think I've seen anything of his that I haven't liked. Of course, I haven't seen GI Joe, but let's gloss over that. And because I can't mention him without posting the hottest pictures ever:
I think there are more than 3 but that's all that is in my Photobucket. :(
Tonight
chaletian are off to see Arcadia again. We saw it last Friday and I loved it so we're squeezing in one more viewing before it closes. I am spending the day psyching myself up to squeezing into seats with about 3 inches of leg room. I managed it last week, I can manage it again. This is the price we must pay for always going for the cheap seats.
Parental units are over from la belle France next week in the run up to Dad's birthday weekend - I'm so excited about his surprise! I hope he enjoys it as much as we think he will. Driving a motherfucking steam train, people!!
