As the world spins madly on...

♥ I slept in my pink bed last night and the world has not ended. Nor did I have nightmares. I'm coming round to it, actually, although I must keep up some sort of contempt for the colour simply as self-preservation, given that I can never ever wear it.

spn_harlequin ftw. It is made of awesome. Basically, the prompts were the plots of bad romance novels and they had to be re-written as J2/Supernatural fics. The end result is a joy to read - there's even a Sheikh! (And mpreg, but I'm not sure about that one - I've never yet managed to read mpreg but maybe it'll be OK in a romance novel setting, where all is ridiculous.)

♥ Last night I booked the flights to France for me, Xanthe and Liss to go visit mama and papa Stone. Hurrah! I am vee looking forward to it and it's less than 6 weeks away! There is general leapy excitement and Giraffe is practically uncontrollable, she is so filled with joy.

♥ We watched Heroes on BBC2 and 3 last night. I adore it still, and it's so odd to watch it again knowing exactly what's going to happen and where they're going with all the characters. It really makes a difference with how you watch certain scenes/storylines (although I'll not go into details, obviously, for that is mean and spoilery)

♥ I checked the TV guide to see who I missed on Mock the Week this week and it was only Adam bloody Hills. I'm so cross! I got all "I bet they're crap guests next week" until I remembered someone said one of them was David Mitchell. Plus the guests are never really that crap on MtW, are they? (Ooh, mental note to me, must find that ep of Spicks and Specks with Russell Howard on it)

♥ Summer Frolick this weekend. It is planned out to within an inch of its life. Oh yes. Really, it is. ...

♥ I got quite excited earlier when I realised it is but two months (ish) to all the new seasons of stuff starting in the States. TV shouldn't really make me this happy, but hey - what can you do?

special hell, love nest, ibf, tv, heroes, parentals, chalet school, tv recordings
