Please leave all overcoats, canes and top hats at the door...

1. Anyone who can should listen to Radio 4 between 6.30 and 7 because it's Mark Watson's new show (and his birthday, apparently). Blurb from the website: "Mark sets out on his quest to free us from The Seven Deadly Sins, with stand-up comedy on the subjects of Greed and Gluttony. He is joined by assistants Tim Key and Tim Minchin, who will be providing sketches, songs and distractions." Other than that, I have no real idea what it's about or if it'll be any good, but I like him on MtW so I'm giving it a go. If it works on this computer.

2. Does someone, anyone (within reason, obvs) want to come to a Fullmooners gig with me? I really really want to go but refuse to go by myself. Frankie Boyle is doing it on 8 March and I want to go to that one. I have absolutely no idea how I'll get home, but that is a question for nearer the time. There are links to things about the Fullmooners on this post here, but basically it's on Thursday nights and starts at midnight and there are various guests. Andrew Maxwell hosts it wearing a cape and the audience howl instead of clapping. It looks so much fun! Please? *puppy dog eyes*

3. Ed Byrne tomorrow! Quite excited about that. He's doing the Fullmooners this Thursday as well (dressed as Prince, apparently, which I'd love to see) but I think once in a week is enough.

4. Russell Howard next week - the first time I've seen him for a while (if we don't count MtW, that is). Be nice to be somewhere you can breathe and all that - the last time I saw him was in a tiny sweaty room above a pub in June or July. We all (him included) nearly expired in the heat! I only realised this afternoon that it was so soon. I might have bounced a bit when that happened...

(Run out of comedy-based points now.)

5. I went to the gym today, which is a bonus. Not been for aaaages. I really need to get back into it but I'm so busy! It's getting lighter earlier now so I might try going in the mornings. I said "might", mind. I'd have to start going to bed at a slightly more sensible time if I did that, though. Which wouldn't be a bad thing altogether. I feel much better today after my 10 hours last night.

6. Working till 10.30 again. Oh, the joy. Video is set for Life on Mars and the Squeen and I are staying up late to watch it. I just hope it tapes - I have general bad luck in that arena.

7. I had a pink-iced cupcake for my breakfast today. It seems wrong somehow but they were calling to me. The Squeen will probably tell me off.

I don't know if you can tell, but I didn't really have 7 things. I just started off numbering points and any less seemed wrong somehow...

comedy, ibf, tv, librarianing, seven things
