Hmmm...
I have absolutely no problem admitting that I cried for Gaeta. This man has come through so much and just thinking about what he had been, what he could have been if not for the Cylons nuking the shit out of the Colonies, and how far he fell... I did weep for him. I don't think he had to die. I don't think he should have died.
Zarek, on the other hand, completely lost me after he assassinated the Quorum. Not that I was sorry to see that bunch of pansies go. But that sure makes it easy for the so-called "Roslin/Adama administration." Guess Zarek was that sure of ending up on top. Silly man. Doesn't he know by now? Didn't he witness the Adama Manuever on New Caprica? Do not fuck with that man, because you're getting beat.
I guess it's only Adama's inner circle that gets away with betrayal without even a slap on the wrist. All I have to say is that the Pegasus Sunshine Boys, Racetrack, Skulls, and Seelix (among others) had better be on the chopping block right behind Gaeta and Zarek, because no one held guns to their heads to join the mutiny. Those pieces of shit RELISHED their roles, Racetrack giggling along with Zarek and Seelix standing by and watching when Sam was beaten up, Skulls talking smack about my Laird after Zarek killed him. If they're all alive by the end of next week, I'm calling foul on Gaeta's execution.
And exactly where the fuck were all those people while Gaeta was taking over the ship? It sure didn't seem like the mutineers were receiving that level of resistance. I have more respect for those who chose Gaeta's side and then stuck with it than for those pansies who waited to see which way the mutiny went and then joined up with the winning side.
It would seem that despite his best efforts, Romo Lampkin has evolved just a little bit. I laughed my ass off when in complete spite of himself he helped Kara help Sam. As a Kara/Sam shipper, I was touched to see Kara choose Sam over the possibility of shooting more people and being there when the ship was taken back. I missed the Kara/Sam relationship and I hope they get back together for reals after this.
WHERE THE FUCK WAS COTTLE???!!!! Seriously! Do they realize the last time we saw Cottle was when they crapped all over Cally's blue corpse? (Yeah, I'm still not over that.) COME ON! I WANT COTTLE AND I WANT HIM NOW!!!
Helo a complete nonentity during the takeback of the ship, hehehehe. Yeah, I know it's low for me to be happy about that, but I can't help it. I hate him. More than I now hate Zarek. But I am glad it looks like he's gonna be okay. Mostly. Sort of. I'M GLAD HE'S NOT DEAD, OKAY, NOW LEAVE ME ALONE, HELO LOVERS!
Dear Richard Hatch,
Thank you. You made it okay for my mom to watch this show with me and you gave us an unforgettable character when it could have been a little easier for you to do a little hand-wave and tip of the hat to RDM, but you got involved. See you at D*C in September, bb!
The Chief rocks. He obviously can tell the future because he knew the only thing that would save the Fleet from splitting was getting to the FTL drives and FUCKING them up. I hope he knows how to fix it.
Just because it needs to be reiterated, Zarek and Gaeta had BETTER not be last ones executed for this mutiny.
Felix 'n' Gaius 2getha 4eva!
Yes, I did cry for Gaeta. If you didn't, you either have no heart or you haven't been watching this show for SIX YEARS.
Wait... 2003-2009... and only four seasons. Fuck you, Skiffy. We are so over. Richard Hatch was right about one thing and that's SCI-FI sucks! Frankly, I'm surprised they got this show right.
