Overhyped and underwhelming
I am, of course, talking about the infamous 4.5 promo. The promo that first got shared at Comic Con and then at some little corner of Dragon*Con (which fellowshipper and I missed, because we were doing other things), and finally will be shown on Skiffy on Thanksgiving Day.
Thankfully, Space shanked Skiffy and has already shown the promo, which means all the superfans have already seen it and those who haven't just aren't able to, due to technical difficulties.
I've really got to make a public apology to sidhe1 and nova65 , because I was a real bitch to them about losing interest in BSG before 4.0 started. I totally understand now, girls, and I apologize. I haven't lost interest in the show itself, can't wait for the end of January and I find myself fully understanding nova65 's statement made many moons ago that she just wanted to see the rest of the show. I've totally gotcha now and I apologize for giving both of you a hard time.
Because I'm there. I'm tired of the hiatus. I'm tired of the excuses for it. I just want January to come so we can finally see the end of the story and then get the DVDs and relive it all over again in a fraction of the time it took those untrained chimpanzees at Skiffy to give it to us.
I was disappointed in the promo. Too much gratuitous shiny shit and not enough of the STORY. Once again, it's Skiffy for the MASSIVE FAIL.
But I will thank nnaylime a hundred times over for the heads-up.
Can we move onto January now?
