Wow, I was going to d/l this ep because I thought- no matter how much I loathe and despite and hate and spit on the unworthy crap that is Grey's, surely Mary makes it shiny and pretty and awesome and worth watching. Now I'm less sure...

Ah, Isaiah. The days when Grey's was actually GOOD. *sighs*

Well, I'm not going to discourage you from watching it, because Mary really was great. I liked the scenes I saw with her in it and I really wish that Sandra Oh and a few of the others were on shows I'd actually be able to watch, because I really like them.

Mary's scenes are definitely worth watching, but not even she can make the entire show worth watching.

I've never watched the show--didn't need another ER type show, but DVR'd it last night because of MM, but more because her character has Asperger's and I'd like to learn a bit more about it. I have two patient's at work who have it and both are very different from each other. Anyway, after reading your blurb, I'm wondering if I should even bother. U tell me, if I've never ever seen the show, should I bother watching?

I'm not any authority on Asperger's, so I can't really make any judgments on Mary's performance, but I would watch her scenes and avoid everything else.

I switched it off after I saw the secret society of interns who PERFORM PROCEDURES ON EACH OTHER. That was too much for me, but nothing about this show does anything for me.

I might have mentioned this to you before, but I'm told by many, many people who know that I show what's probably a mild form of Asperger's myself - and what I saw in that preview from Mary's character is a more intense version of the way I am with people I either don't know or I'm not comfortable around.

Grey's is a crap show, but Mary is Mary, I'd watch, just for her.

I guess it really depends on how much you can tolerate all that other nonsense you're forced to watch along with Mary.

I was only able to take about half an hour of it. I'm gonna wait and hope that someone puts her scenes on YouTube.

I'm not watching Grey's Anatomy again, not even for Mary. That's what YouTube's for. That piece of garbage show gets too much attention as it is.
