(no subject)
Despite spending most of the day studying, it actually turned out to be a pretty good day!
I got more reading/studying done than I expected, plus ended up getting few suprise visits and a huuuge pile of candy. lol
I slept in until 10:30 which was sooooo nice, and then I worked on nursing until lunch time.
Julia and I decided to go for brunch... but the cafeteria closed 5 mintues before we got down there, opps. So we walked over Killiam library and got a snack from Second Cup instead.
When we walked outside it was snowing!! :) Well, it was more like hail, but close enough.
So yea, good muffins and good company made for a good study break. ha ha.
It was fun.
Phil & Scott came by after that and then I read/studied for the rest of the afternoon.
After supper, April asked me if I would walk to Park Lane with her so we could go to the candy store. lol.
So we took a break and went...it was fun. And we ended up spending almost $20 combined on candy. Opps.
It was worth it though and good to get a bit of exercise. lol.
After we got back, I studied for a couple more hours and then got to hang out with Phil for a bit!! :)
I didn't think I was going to see him this week-end so that was a nice suprise.
So exams are obviously coming up really soon.
I'm just trying to pick away at stuff and do what I can...and not freak out.
Like Erin was saying in her lj post, I too have a ridiculous amount of information to remember...and 6 exams?? Ugh.
I don't even want to think about it.
I can't wait for Christmas break!
All I want to do is sleeeeeep. lol. And see everyone and hopefully there will be some snow!!
I think I might be working at my dad's work the week after exams...babysitting some experiment?! ha. Sounds super boring, but I could really use the money...$10 an hour would definitely be worth it!
Hmm..what else is new? Not much really.
School has pretty much taken over my life. Blah.
I went to Jacqueline's dinner theatre on Thursday though, her class did "Christmas in the Land of Oz".
It was SO good. Besides all the characters running and screaming around in the lobby before the show, haha, I really enjoyed it.
It definitely gave me a good laugh, and Jacqueline, you were a lovely lady lion. :)
Oh, and Julia, Andrea, Annie and I are in the process of setting up a Dal Equestrian Team.
Except the stupid sports rep guy who we need to meet, with keeps cancelling on us!! It's super frustrating.
Plus, there is this other girl who is trying to form an equestrian society instead...
Apparently, she's meeting with him on Monday, so the race is on. lol
I really hope we can get a meeting with him soon! But even if we do, it doesn't look like we'll be able to do much until after christmas :(
Hopefully things will work out though.
Okay, I think I'm gonna go to bed.
