I was feeling left out...
sJANUARY- This feels like an age ago not a year ago...This month I got to know a lot of Paul's friends better and even though he thinks that I'm the social one (psh) his friends are great. I watched the Worthems dogs for about a week this month. I also started classes; Chemistry, Nutrition, Literature, Ecology and Psychology. I was really excited to be back in science classes.
FEBRUARY- This month I took my first plane ride, with Paul to North Carolina, to see his mom. That trip was great, his mom has this sweet little puppy named Sadie, but I refuse to call her that, so I call her little bit. Valentines day was really nice Paul got me my Bose system which I am in love with still.
MARCH- Paul's Birthday was on the 10th of March, it was okay, I wanted it to be amazing, better planning was needed on my part, better punctuality was needed on Paul's part. I went to have an interview with Zaphra this month and got the job in the lab. I also met Paul's adoptive grandparents, Erwin and Linda, they are very sweet.
APRIL-humm, This month sucked big time. For easter Paul and myself, kacy and (some girl I had never met and never met again) all went to a beautiful easter brunch and kacy and other girl stuck paul with a $30 a plate bill, without thanking him, actually what I would have preferred was if they paid. This month was the only time I ever wondered if I could have depression, I felt like shit and didn't understand why.
MAY- Turned 19. Manifest at school, huge art festival, walked around with Brian. May was when I actually started working in the lab. Finished up my classes and started my new oppressive work schedule, with the lab on monday, wednesday and friday and the worthems on tuesday and thursday. I think this is when I got really sick with UTI infections. Also in May I got to go to the Gibbs award dinner.
JUNE- I was still working all the time. Mid-month i went to the wedding of an old friend, just the start of these sort of things. Went to the beach a lot this month.
JULY- I watched the dogs a lot this month and went to the Ren Fair with Paul several times. I also had my first gyno visit, that was special. I attended my first ladies night out with the office girls, we had the best time. Harry Potter. I got to go to the family values tour, which featured Flyleaf, Evanescence and Korn, which was amazing excluding this drunken Barbie doll dancing around in front of us.
AUGUST- I think it was in August that Steve and Sam officially got together, but this was nice, got to go one double dates with my little brother. This month had me working a lot cause I told the worthems I couldn't work once school had started, which was v. true.
SEPTEMBER- Started another semester at COlumbia. My new classes were; Europe and West Ancient Civilizations, Politics, Government and Society, African History and Culture to 1880 and Fundamentals of 2-D design. This month marked Paul and my 1st anniversary. I was sick again this month and missed a day of school (I was not happy)
OCTOBER- This month was when Paul got really sick and was in and out of the hospital for about 2 weeks. This was really scary. Still working hard in school.
NOVEMBER- Went to North Carolina again, this time with Mike, a now mutual friend of Paul and I. Worked on getting the house in chicago done, finished the floors, started to pack paul's apartment. 2nd girls night out, we went to The Melting Pot, which was a blast.
DECEMBER- There were a hundred christmas parties between paul's stuff, work, my stuff and home I was swamped, but in a good way. Dealing with relationships and really defining what I want out of them.
