Wedding bells, random trips, and hot jousters.

So the last few days have been really, really crazy. Fun, but crazy.

Friday: Kim's last day and her going away party. She cried like nobody's business at work when she had to leave and that almost made me cry. I was surprised that she didn't cry at her party, too, but I think she was too drunk. I really didn't feel drunk until the Long Island Ice Tea. Yeah, that did it all right. A whole big group of us went bar hopping, it was so much fun. Don't worry, I didn't drive home, I slept on Kim's couch.

Saturday: Nothing too exciting, mostly hangover day. Me, Kim, and Travis went to breakfast, though. And it almost made me feel human for about five minutes. Almost forgot, me and mom went to see The Dark Knight. I know, I'm a horrible protester, but she had to see it and she couldn't just go by herself ;)

Sunday: The greatest day EVER! Me and Goose went to the Renaissance Festival in Holly. The whole day we had a lot of fun. We went to see a few stage acts like the magician/comedian Zoltan (hilarious and awesome!) and the Shakespeare-inspired Mudskippers (oh, yes, they did Shakespeare in mud (and with blind seagulls and a wood chipper)). But the best part came when we went to the last joust of the day. One of the squire's was flirting with me and Valanie and told us to see him after the joust was over. So, we hung out with him by the stables for a while until the three of us went to the pub. All the knights from the joust were there and so were the squires.

We sat around together drinking and talking and we got to know their real names. They are so freaking hot it's not even funny. Plus we got to meet this really cool girl named CeeKay, who is the daughter of the guy in charged of security for the entire festival, plus she is the squire for the red knight. Unfortunately, they had to leave :( So after they had gone, me and Valanie decided we should too, seeing as Ren Fest closed at 7 and it was a quarter after. Val was kinda sad because we didn't get to say goodbye to hot red knight. So, who should we run into on our way out? Hot red knight and hot blue knight's hot squire.

We chatted with them for a while. Blue knight's squire (who's name is Ryan) carried me on his back, lifted me with one arm, and got his face shoved right into my boobs, twice. Red knight (real name, Eric) was really funny and sweet and for some reason seemed really embarrassed at Ryan's face being in my boobs. They had to leave eventually, too. But me and Valanie were fangirling for a while after that.

Monday: SQUEE!! My brother, Eric, proposed to his girlfriend! I was so excited! Me, mom, and Eric had dinner with Alyssa (his fiance) and her parents. They were really nice and really funny. I also spent the night at Goose's apartment.

Tuesday: Driving. 12 hours of driving! I went from Goose's up to Traverse City and from there to the Mackinac Bridge. I ended up deciding to go across and get a hotel room in St. Ignace. After a quick shower I was on my way to Whitefish Point (which is, apparently, the cranberry capital of Michigan). Went to the Shipwreck museum, which was really cool, and waded in Lake Superior. From Whitefish I went to Tahquanemon Falls, a series of events of which we will never speak about. Things happened. Possibly illegal things. Although I'm pretty sure they really aren't illegal.

Now: Sitting in my hotel room, relaxing, watching Attack of the Clones. Tomorrow is home and a ghost hunt, yay! Then Thursday is my birthday, double yay!
