NaNoWriMo

So I have made the concious decision to participate in NaNoWriMo in November for the first time. Despite having major exams at the end of the month I think I can stil do it. Now that I've told people I'm doing it I'm less likely to fail or change my mind lol.

It's a big international thing where you aim to write 50,000 words of fiction in a month. Part of me thinks I'm crazy since I have major, major law exams at the end of the month so I'll see how I go lol.

Okay you are officually awesome.

I'm doing a straight law degree (not everyone has to do pre law in some Australian universities. Thankfully I'm one of those who dont) so when I finish mid next year (scary!) I can do another 6 month course, become admitted and then I am a fully qualified lawyer... which frankly scares the hell out of me because I don't feel that I know nearly enough to give legal advice. But we all have to start somewhere I guess!

And yeah I love to write but I've never tried writing 50,000 words before, let alone in a month. So it will be interesting lol.

I guess we have a lot more in common than we thought!! :)

That's so awesome that you're going to be a lawyer! When I graduate from my paralegal program I'll come be a paralegal in your office..haha!

You'll feel much more comfortable giving legal advice once you start building a client base and get used to it. It'll come naturally.:)
