Thanks to a certain Kate Weber and Chris Burris I now know to make sure my links actually work. I'm good like that.
So the other day at our lingerie tea party (weekly on Mondays)- I decided to follow my roomates actions and create a top ten list of what the "best guy ever" woukld consist of...then I figured, let's tell the world, why not?!
1) Is passionate about the many things he enjoys.
2) Social ease and likability.
3) Independant, yet enjoys companionship.
4) Likes gummi bears. Totally kidding.
4b) cute/in shape.
5) Accepts who I am and likes me all the more for it.
6) Spontaneous.
7) Intellengent.
8) Appreciates what I do (i.e. musical theatre, etc.)
9) Playful.
10) An edge.
There you have it. In the future we'll be doing it again, seeing if it changes. But what I found the most interesting thing about this whole excersize was how different each of ours was. You could really tell a lot about the girl making the list by not only what was on there, but by what came first/last. Not only that, but it was difficult to single it down to just ten aspects.
To another thought, it has been brought to my attention quite recently by numerous valuable sources that my certain lateness has become a big issue. I orginally thought about singing certain lines such as "I am not always ontime, please don't expect that from me, I will be late, but if you just wait, I'll make it eventually" or "I may be late but HERE I AM!" when I entered rooms late. They could be my new pull-string phrases rather than "hmm....INTERESTING..." But alas, this would probably only be humerous to myself and the few that know where those quotes come from, so I have decided not only to tryyy to be ontime, which is always the case anyway, but to ACTUALLY be ontime to things, if not early. It's an entirely different mentality. As Corinne stated, you have to expect that you might be waiting in class ten minutes early. My normal line of thinking would be "Ew, no. I'd rather be on the quad, talking with friends, even doing homework, why waste my time when I don't have to be there?" Well, kids, not anymore, I will build time into things and you will soon see a new and improved Katie Culligan. Punctuality is her middle name.
If I could post a picture of my broad grinning face right now I would.
