Ever have a day that's just gosh darn good? Well my dears, this one was such; rain and cloudy as it may be. I began my day at 8am , believe it or not - and I am NOT a morning person. Hilary's sleeping, along with the rest of my suite but I just woke up on the right side of the bed, well, the only side...
The weather was pleasant, my first class ended early I got the coolest toy for free, curious? Stop by to see...;) I'm in the running for a free IPOD for taking a survey, bought a cute bag, and got a new movie from the library - all just before lunch. Nice huh? I also, enjoyed learning how to create a mask for make-up class, it was like cooking, attended three classes in total, watched Cabaret, two meals with good friends, saw Jim Brickman in concert which was amazing I must add. The highlight of my night was definately when the singer sang "Valentine" and dozens of corny stars appeared on the walls around us, but one set was sideways so there was a minute of awkwardly roatating hearts on the wall- quite amusing. Then of course UREC and a nice walk with my favorite Corinne - quite a day huh?
I realized tonight my problem with food. Here's the deal - Hilary and I started watching what and how we ate just the other day which is particularly difficult for me considering that I can go to UREC all the time if time allows, I love working out and taking classes, etc, but the problem is eating healthier and at good times. I can't do much about my sweet tooth- which is one of the biggest sweet tooths in the world i'm sure. It's a challenge to pass up dessert. Salty is not my thing, chips, eh..I like em for the dip, I like the cookies. I mean, who can pass up a good soft chocolate chip cookie.
Damnit. I'm making myself hungry.
Though I also realized that when I do exercise, I crave carrots and natural foods, like fruits and vegetables, that's kind of a plus.
ok, that's enough of that.
It's been a good day and really made me apprieciate my beloved JMU. Is there anything to hate about this campus? Not today.
