HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIOT!!!!!!
Just when you think you'll never win anything...
I found out two days ago that I WON two tickets to the Christmas Michael W. Smith concert in Tualatin from my favorite radio station Hope 107.9! The head radio guy Paul Hernandez left a voice mail on my phone saying congrats and the tickets will be under my name at will call. How awesome is that?? When was the last time you heard of anyone winning something on the radio?
So the best part is he is performing with a 72-piece orchestra, and the tickets are for Eliot's Birthday. What a blessing! I looked up the ticket cost and the cheapest ones are $40 each. Woohoo! Since we can't afford to go to hardly anything this year, I feel doubly blessed that we received these tickets so Eliot and I can spend some much needed down time together doing something fun.
The downside? We have to take the cat with us to Portland so he doesn't take out the tree again, and the weather looks pretty scary (like coldest weather since 2004, which for this part of Oregon is in the 20s). Oh well... I am content with my gift. Thank You Lord!
