Sex in chocolate
well I have a Macro economics AP exam tomorrow, and so instead of studying I have resigned my self to watching Sex in the City and eating mass quantities of double stuffed oreos. Oh sin of all sins , these habits are both highly addicting. First of all double stuffed oreos were created by the fashion magazines to make it next to impossible to achieve that standard.This is what I tell myself anyway.
While Sex in the City is depressing in the sense that Kim Catrell an Sarah Jessica Parker complain about never getting men, and this automatically makes you wonder wether there is any hope for the rest of us. This I think makes me alittle bit of a masochist. Heres a show about 4 whiny New York Women who are gorgeous and have $400 to spend on shoes. If this was reality I would hate them, I would tear them down to their last flaw , ( but in the nicest manner possible and only behind their back JK) . However, because its on tv and the writting is so damn good I just can't turn away. Men absolutley hate it .. at least the ones I know. However, for women its like porn.. porn with a plot . You fantasize about having these womens lives the glamour,the bank account, and yes sometimes even the sex. I think thats why so many of us love it , because the women in it even Samantha are strong. They're not the little porno girls , there women with a profession. They aren't giggly, they are goal oriented,single middle aged women who are sexy.. and that I think is a positive message for most of us girls , especially the ones who don't want to get married.
