Christmas day and all its spoils. :)

Hi all, and Merry Christmas again!

The day was quite wonderful actually, so ve'y relaxing and fun...

Got up this morning with brother and we opened our stockings. Lots of chocolatey goodness ensued, as well as getting a bottle of perfume, which I already have, but was dreading having to buy more. The presents were ve'y good this year. Got a jacket and things such as gloves for when I decide to learn how to ski.

...Don't ask me why. You live in Duluth, you ski...it's just the way it goes.

Also got pillow-top thing for my matress, since the thing is super hard and uncomfortable. So this thing makes it soft and fluffy and happy. Got Ipod charger for shuffle, coconut lotion, a purse mom bought in south africa, and a sweater. As I severely lack this item of clotheing, I was incredibly grateful.

And there are gift cards! Between family christmas and extended family christmas, I have $65 to Borders! This and a "personal shopping day," which gives me %10 off of a day of shopping. Wonderful books here I come! I could dance with excitement.

Went to uncles house today, and was much less dysfunctional than I would have thought. Went and watched PotC2 with cousins Maddie Aaron Lindsey and of course my brother. We got bored of that, went to eat, and then migrated to living room where Maddie sat on my lap for about twenty minutes. Let me mention she is 19, so this was entertaining...and actually quite comfortable. Talked to Cristen, watched little baby children run around the house, and then opened gifts. There was giftcard, charm and 15 dollars. Not bad for just showing up.

Afterwords we just played junk gift dice game, which yielded mocha flavored kitkats...yum. Then Maddie and I sat in front of the fireplace and she layed on me again...the child was exhausted. :) Was hot, so we relocated to the other room and started watching "Cars." That movie amuses me highly. Maddie dozed off against my shoulder and I knitted and watched. When movie was over we talked for about twenty minutes, and then came home.

Cassie, old friend from middle school called me...that was awkward. She wants to get together...I don't. She thinks we're still good friends...I've drifted, as bad as that sounds. She hasn't changed since seventh grade.

I talked to her for a little while, then made my excuses and got off the phone to go read Fruits Basket and read e-mails from Adi...which made my evening!

Now I'm off to do more reading and try to write some good reviews/critiques/comments? (lengthy rambling paragraphs) for Shinju's fantastic stories. Think I may reread them a few times too...so squealishly great!

If all else goes according to plan...I might even try to continue the story I started. Who knows.

Hope everyone has had a great day!
