So the football paper is done. I think I could have added more to it, and I think it's sort of awful, but it's out of my hands completely, so not worth worrying about. Or so I tell myself. It might keep me from having a nice mental breakdown when the sleep deprivation wears off

OH YAY. I am amused because that's actually how I chose some of classics at the top of my list; they were free off of an iPod application. Now! Okay, I want:

-Bauer, Laurie - An Introduction to International Varieties of English
-Inman, Thomas- Ancient Pagan and Modern Christian Symbolism

But also: Well, Black certainly isn't going to up anyone's "cultured" quotient, but she is a right trip. She creates an interesting and involving world. Escapism for sure, but well-done enough to make me happy. And I really like her characters. Although I think she has a thing for humiliation, especially of the guy-on-guy variety. Which is fine from where I'm standing mostly, since I can pretend while I'm reading that it was supposed to be as wince-inducing as it is and feel badly for everyone. Just, when I stop and think, I am forced to conclude that it wouldn't be in there so much unless she thought it was sexy.

But she also has an LJ, which makes her Cool, and she's really, really nice from what I've heard.

Wonderful; I'll get those all sent over. Does your computer play nice with PDF files, or should I be converting them?

I'll have to add her to the list then, as she does the fairy thing, and I'm in love with that. And also recovering from the "immortality" book I tried to start today...so bad. She can fulfill my fantasy yen.

PDF is of the good. Sometimes it's mean, but it works in the end.

And she does the fairy thing very well, I'd add. I like her Courts. Ooh, tell me what was wrong with the book! I do like a little badfic complaining.
