really? Again?
Em and co came up this week on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, and...well, not a whole hell of a lot ensued. We ate, found parking on my campus (an event in itself,) bought kisses, and that was about it. It was great to see them though. They waited around while I did a test for the KL, and we were just lazy.
Then, last night, guess what started? That's right, snow. And it didn't stop. It was still snowing when we left the city. I'm cursed. It's a fact. I called the KL to see if he really needed me at the test, then we packed up and went to the car.
Which we couldn't get out of the parking spot.
It took us almost an hour to get out of our spot, and that involved Andy and I pushing the car, up to our knees in snow, practically laid flat trying to get leverage, the three girls sitting on the tailgate to try and weigh the car down so the tires could catch, and an epic amount of shoveling, with shovels and 2by4s. Then we parked (on the curb, not by it) brought out all the stuff, and crammed 4 people into the tiny cab of a pickup. I think I almost lost a toe in the experience, it was so cold in the back.
But I'm home now, officially deciding that the world just does not want me to leave school. I'm afraid when I do it in May, we're going to have another freak blizard or something.
But, I'm exhausted now. I appologize to all for the lack of online activity; it's been a rather crazy 2 days. And I'm going to bed, because the hours I've been awake far outnumber the hours I've slept.

ETA: Lauren gave me a "Shakespearean insults" mug for Christmas. How freaking awesome is that? My inner english geek is so far above and beyond amused.
