life is fixed by brownies
So, in class yesterday, a bit after I ranted, the computer died. I went home, pretty much hating life, and found that K was making brownies.
I swear to God, they fixed the whole night.
I ranted, she sympathized, then gave me a brownie. After that, we discovered that there was a place with $5 carry-out pizza, and we had a coupon for cheese bread. It was fantastic. Then, after some Bones and House time, I came back to the computer to find I'd gotten an Email from the health bitch. Apparently playing the graduation card worked, since she was "you can stay registered"...but she made it sound like she had never tried to eject me from the class. So, I still loathe her, but I can take her class, and dammit, this time I will freaking ace it. Because I'm not dealing with her again, ever.
Shakespeare is canceled today...and next week, so I was going to take the opportunity to sleep in. No dice. Up at 7. But it's alright; lots to do, and I can write for class, then go have lunch with Ruth and John. What's left of the syntax group decided that we should get together. I think it might be Ruth's birthday too...must check on that.
Now, off to find something to do, since I have 4 hours to kill before my day really starts.
...How long has it been since I've had that much time in one chunk before 5 in the evening?
