hell yes!
Today, by and large, was something of a crappy day.
But, to offset that...I finally have a job!
I went into the department to drop something off, and ran into the hiring manager as I was leaving. And she was "is it alright if I have you wait a week to start?" and I was "yeah sure that's fi--wait, does this mean I'm hired?" And she was "yes."
So, rambling story short...I finally have a job!
The hours won't be good, and the pay isn't fantastic, but I could care less. It's a little financial nugget of joy for now. And hopefully some good references and resume-fluff for after college.
And "office assistant and administrative support" looks a hell of a lot better than "appointment setter for cousin's insurance company."
I'm exhausted, and have way too much to do by tomorrow, but I'm overjoyed for the moment, and I'm going to ride it for a while until the high wears off.
