Yes, they probably are.
I started looking for plot things today, and decided I might have found something. Unfortunately, it meant that some things that I'd already written needed to be redone. I didn't want to, because I know editing will be the death of this novel, but I just had to. I wrote a new scene, about 1900 words, and then deleted about 6 pages off of the original novel. Things are flowinig much more smoothly, but I'm farther behind than I was; about 5000 words...:(
But I just might have a direction, so I'll take the catchup any day as opposed to writing a character I hate simply to stay up on word count without knowing where I was going.
Busy day tomorrow, and feeling a little ill, so I think it's time to retire to bed.
