Holy hell, I suck.
I was fudging around on GJ and noticed that I hadn't done a real update in a month. -_- My bad, friends. I kept going to do it and then would get distracted by something shiny. Curse my short attention span!
So what am I doing now? Doing this update while Smackdown's on. So smart. >.< I'll probably get distracted again. Oh well, at least I'm trying!
Anywhoo, how is Katie? At the moment, Katie is hungry because it's 8 PM and she hasn't eaten dinner yet. My dad had a doctor's appointment at 4:30 and called at about 6:15, saying he hadn't seen the doctor yet. This doctor does surgery as well and his surgeries ran late, so he was late everywhere.
I was telling sockmonkeyblues and sassyfrassy that I don't think anybody in the house had a good day. Dad had to wait for hours at the doctor, Mom got a flat tire driving Rob to work, therefore Rob was late for work, I had to go get him and drive him to work, then work for me was a bit homicidal-feelings-inducing. You know, just another day. *LOL*
I'm bummed! Becky (one of my bosses) was setting up tables in my "office"...not really an office, because I sit in the front room of the business office. Anyway, she was setting up tables and wouldn't tell us what it was for. Of course, Mom called about her flat tire and me needing to go get Rob while Becky was setting up things, so I missed whatever it was. I figured it was a meeting, but nooooo...it was 15 Minutes of Fun! Those bitches had fun without me. I hate them all now. Well, not really, but....gah! No fair.
What they did was do Halloween activities...they did a word search and whoever finished it first got a huge-ass bowl of candy. Yeah, I know what you're thinking "Katie, don't you work with adults?" *LOL* I do, but there was a real elementary-school vibe there. And I missed it. *SIGH* I deserve my 15 Minutes of Fun. I should demand it.
Ooh, yay, Dad's back with dinner! I shall finish this update after I eat. Like you'd be able to tell I was doing that if I didn't say anything.
All right, I have returned, full of dinner and happy about what I'm seeing on Smackdown. I won't say what, because I don't spoil. I will only nod my approval. *nods*
Okay, what'd I say about being distracted by shiny things? I just did that, got distracted for an hour. Oops. Well, here's the deal...starting last week, I couldn't get any videos on WWE.com to play. The media player would come up and load, then say "Ready" and not do anything. Well, after much feeling like I wanted to tear my hair out, I finally got it figured out. My problem was that I had the same file types associated with Windows Media Player and also with RealPlayer. Media Player said "BZZT! Wrong!" and wouldn't work because of that. It's working just fine now, though. My WWE videos work and so does my LaunchCast stuff, thankfully. I was really fretting about it. Yes, I fret over lame things.
All right, since I'm getting distracted again, I think that's my cue to shut up. At least it's a decent update this time! *throws confetti for self*
