Week of Mad Fun
Okay, so I do not party that much, or truthfully at all, but by the end of the week, I will have done so three times, once at Jay's house, once on Bourbon Street (that's right all, Katie James on Bourbon Street), and once at Millsaps homecoming. Oh yeah, I'm coming back, baby.
I am really looking forward to going back up to Millsaps, not just for the entertainment, but I want to see some people. When I came in August to help Patrick move in, and then again in September, I literally had no desire to see anyone. That sounds so mean, but maybe I was just too afraid to explain myself and my reasons for leaving. I think maybe I wasn't as happy as I am now with everything because I really like Southern, and I really like where I am at. I think my decision was great, and I am very happy with it, and I guess now I feel like it's justified or something. I can't explain it. I just can't wait to visit the Tri-Delts and get lots of hugs and tell people how much I miss them and stuff. I don't know. It's sappy. Millsappy...hehehehehehee.
I have a paper to write for my Women in American Society class for tomorrow. I also have my Spanish midterm tomorrow. I only had three midterms (including this one) because we had a Chemistry exam early, and one of my classes only has a final. Just a final...I'm going to kill myself...lol.
I also have to register for classes tonight online, and let me tell you, this online system is really not simple. I am completely able to do many things with a computer, but this system stinks majorly, and I am not happy about that. I guess it beats standing in line in front of the registrar's office...lol.
Y'all, the election is in less than 2 weeks. Does this scare anyone but me? I guess not scare so much as make me anxious, but I am seriously excited and worried and nervous and everything else. I'm going to tell y'all a cool site to go to: www.votepair.com I just think it's an interesting idea. I don't know whether I agree with it or not because there is no way to guarantee it, but I think it's a cool thing to do to bypass the whole electoral college thing. Lol. Oh, and my boyfriend doesn't think there should be an electoral college. I actually got a political view from him, how amazing is that?
Well, I am going to study for 30 minutes, and then register online at 7:00. See you Millsaps cats on Saturday.
