If it's not school stress, it's family stress
This situation with my grandfather is not quite as simple as I thought it was. Turns out he was bleeding internally due to his bleeding ulcer. They had to give him six pints of blood in the last two days, and now he is in ICU. I swear if I lose another person in my life, I will freak out. The doctor said that he's going to be fine, but what if we would have just let it keep going like it was going? He would have just died in his sleep. I'm such a horrible granddaughter for not catching this. Geez. I swear, one day when I have time and money, I am going to get me an M.D. just so I can diagnose my family because they refuse to pay so much for medical care.
I did go visit him last night and he looks really good. He's all swollen, and has several tubes in his arms, but you can tell by the way he's talking that he's fine. He's telling us to get some of his stuff and put it in a box before the cleaning lady comes so nothing happens to it. That's very typically him, so I was actually happy to hear it.
